ARTISTES NEED TO PROTECT AND MONETIZE THEIR WORKS – Managing Consultant, Amanda Uzoagba

Our Managing Consultant, Amanda Uzoagba was on a guest on 042 Express, a programme on the Enugu State Broadcasting Service Television (ETV Chanel 50). She was interviewed by the host, BlueMagic on the ways which artistes can build their music and monetize it.

In the interview, our managing consultant pointed out that there is need for artistes to protect their music using certain measures so they can still be cashing in from their music even after they are out of the industry or no longer have that much influence in the industry. She went in depth to discuss the beauty of music licensing, music publishing as well as the need for artiste to register with PROs and collecting societies to help keep track of the use of their music especially outside the country.
