NIGERIAN MUSIC INDUSTRY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WITH THE RECENT AFROBEAT INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION

Our managing consultant, Amanda Uzoagba made a quick stop at Beat FM Abuja during the #MiddayShowAbj with Thrill to talk about music business particularly contract issues in the industry.

In the midst of her discussion when asked about the international recognition that our afro beat is receiving, she expressed her worry over it and pointed out that if the legal structure isn’t acknowledged and artistes don’t start involving the players of the industry like talent managers, A & R managers, entertainment lawyers and so on, the industry might get colonized just like Nigeria was colonized.
